Star Delta Transformers are manufactured in our centrally located factory, 10 minutes south of Parramatta.
Every unit produced must pass high voltage insulation and voltage ratio tests before delivery to customers as well as constant inspection during the manufacturing process.
Our transformers are conservatively designed to meet customer requirements. We seek to understand our customer's application to help ensure correct design parameters are used.
We utilise flexible, localy developed software which allows a quick response time from customer order to delivery. Most orders can be compelted within 5 days. In urgent cases shorter lead times pay be possible.
Enclosures:
Heavy guage zinc coated sheet metal is used in the manufacture of enclosures for Star Delta transformers. This prevents premature corrosion and superficial damage. In addition, we can manufacture powder-coated weatherproof enclosures as well as suitable plastic weatherproof enclosures.
Easy Installation:
Arrangements for mounting and electrical connections are designed to be flexible. Terminals on units are easily accessible, and are typically screw type. Lug, quick connect or solder lug type may be supplied to customer requirements.
Long Life:
Star Delta Transformers give reliable performance over extended periods even under extreme operating conditions. Materials used in the manufacture of Star Delta Transformers are being constantly evaluated for improvement to reliability and performance.
The average temperature rise for normal production type Star Delta Transformers is 55 degrees C under continuous operation at full load. Normal ambient temperature si considered to be 25 degrees C.
Overload Capacity:
Because of their conservative ratings and quality construction Star Delta Transformers can handle some overloads for short periods of time.
